Custom Machined Enclosures

 

A recent advertising campaign for aluminium enclosures has prompted an increase in enquiries for custom machined enclosures. Our machining and finishing service has appealed to customers who recognise the benefits in purchasing a total solution from a single source, rather than using multiple suppliers and sub-contractors.

This positive response to our advertising campaign resulted in a business decision to invest in new machinery and technology to support this service. We have subsequently purchased a new four-axis machining centre (XYZ 1010VMC) with Siemens 810D controller, which is capable of completing most applications in a single cycle, lowering setup times, batch sizes and reducing lead times to our customers. Combine this with the SolidWorks and EdgeCAM capabilities and we have a full-service solution, from design to delivery.
